Kudus named Footballer of the Year for 2nd consecutive time at Ghana Football Awards

Mohammed Kudus, a Ghanaian international, clinched his second Footballer of the Year title at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards, making him only the second player to achieve this honor twice.

The midfielder for West Ham United outshone competitors Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Osman Bukarai, and Inaki Williams to secure the award for the second year in a row. Kudus had an outstanding debut season in England, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in 45 appearances for the Hammers.

Additionally, he played a key role in guiding the team to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League, netting five goals in the process.
