JOB TITLE: RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (CORPORATE BANKING)

Societe Generale Ghana PLC, a market leader in the financial services industry with countrywide representation is seeking to recruit a Relationship Manager to work with the Corporate Department.

Key Results Area/Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of clients’ operating environment to manage day-to-day transactional flows, cash investment needs, trading cycles, working capital requirements and operational banking requirements.
  • Write, analyse and review credit applications with the aim to getting authorisation to proceed to disburse from the credit approving authority.
  • Plan Portfolio development by undertaken account planning at the beginning of the year for the top ten accounts within the portfolio and reviewing same semi- annually to determine level of implementation of the action plans as per the plan.
  • Responsible for the financing and advisory solutions customized to the client’s needs in the areas of syndications, export finance, trade and product Financing, IPOs, underwriting of debt and equity issues and private placements.
  • Ensure that the portfolio achieves its objectives in terms of financial and commercial performance while maintaining risk controls.

Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration Degree in Banking & Finance or its equivalent in related fields.
  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years’ experience in driving business within Corporate Banking.
