Following significant rain on June 15, 2022, some areas of the Greater Accra Region have experienced flooding.
The Tema Station, National Theatre, Kantamanto, and its surroundings are among the locations that are affected.
Vehicles are having a difficult time navigating the flood at the Tema Station Junction due to the severe traffic.
The National Theatre’s access and exit routes are all completely underwater due to the recent severe rain.

As a result of some vehicles being unable to get through the floodwaters, the scenario led to traffic gridlock.
The Ghana Meteorological Agency has forecasted additional bouts of these drenching downpours this season.
Ghana’s ongoing flooding problem would cost the government more than $5 billion, according to the Ministry for Works and Housing.
