Pastor Prays On World Cup Trophy for Ghana’s Black Stars to Win the Tournament in Qatar [Video]

Pastor prays on World cup trophy

Following the World Cup trophy’s two-day tour, a Ghanaian preacher prayed for the Black Stars to win the tournament in Qatar. As part of its tour of the continent, FIFA ambassador David Trezeguet brought the World Cup trophy over the weekend. Later this year, Ghana will compete in Group H of the World Cup in Qatar against Uruguay, South Korea, and Portugal.

The World Cup trophy was given divine prayers after it arrived in Ghana on Saturday, according to a local pastor. In an effort to raise awareness of the next event in Qatar, FIFA sent the World Cup trophy on a two-day visit to Ghana.

On Saturday, former France player David Trezeguet arrived with the trophy, and he was greeted by Mustapha Ussif, the Sports Minister, and Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association.

However, a preacher who was there for the presentation of the golden gong used the occasion to pray for the Black Stars to win the trophy and return it to Ghana in December in a video that was shared on social media.

“We pray this time that this cup you will go and return back to Ghana for a good celebration. We prophesy in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen,” prayed the man known as Pastor Sammy.
